The MedTech Student Interest Group formed in 2014 is a student body that has a strong passion for the invention and advancement of medical technologies.

Through talks and awareness events, we hope to spread awareness about the huge potential of medical technologies and innovation. At the same time, we hope to inspire our members to pursue an active role in developing and engineering medical technologies.
The SIG is the process of developing Innovation, Research and Development platforms. These platforms will help our members connect with innovators and clinicians who share their interests and passion. Through these connections, members can hope to collaborate on meaningful research and engineering projects.
The SIG takes on the responsibility of collaborating with local healthcare groups in Singapore to create events such as the Singhealth hackathon for the purposes of providing our members with the opportunity to get their hands dirty with innovation.
